Indian Team legendary opener Virender Sehwag suggested formar Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to get going from the first ball and advised team management to let him know about his role in T 20 format.
Though Dhoni has scored 49 runs off 37 balls in the 2nd T20 match against New Zealand but many people have raised question about Dhoni’s strike rate.
“Dhoni should realise his role in the team. He has to change the momentum early while chasing a strong total. He has to score from ball one and the team management should make him understand this point,”
Sehwag told ‘India TV’.
Sehwag also cleared that Virat Kohli still need MS Dhoni in his team at this moment.
“Team India needs MS Dhoni at the moment, even in T20 cricket. He will step down at the right time. He will never block the way for any young cricketer,” Sehwag said.
