India’s Manushi Chillar won the Ms World 2017 award on 18th November. Manushi ends the 18 years long run for India. She has competed with other 108 contestants. Last time Priyanka Chopra Won this ward in year 2000. India, England, France, Kenya and Mexico were selected among the top 5. England won the 2nd and Mexico won the 3rd position.
In the question and answer round Manushi was asked a question “Which profession deserves the highest salary and why? ” In the response of the his question she answered:
“I think a mother is of the highest respect. I don’t think its just about cash but the love and respect she gives to someone. She is the biggest inspiration in my life. Mothers should get the highest respect.”
Manushi is from Haryana. Manushi’s father, Dr Mitra Basu Chhillar is a scientist at DRDO, and mother, Dr Neelam Chhillar is the head of the department of Neuro-chemistry.
